The US Geological Society in Menlo Park is having an Open House from May 16-17th from 10-4 pm. What a great way to spend the day together with an educational family activity! There is no admission fee for this local event and there are dozens of fun hands on exhibits from panning for gold to watching earthquake simulation to becoming a rock detective.
